TANKED GOODNESS FOR FRIDAY NIGHTS!
-Animal Planet Branches Out With TREEHOUSE MASTERS And TANKED Performances -
(Silver Spring, MD, June 11, 2013) - Animal Planet has transformed Friday nights by turning trees into spectacular treehouses and revolutionizing your concept of a fish tank. Friday night's performance of frosh series, TREEHOUSE MASTERS, and the spring season finale of TANKED pulled in 1.5M and 1.2M P2+ viewers, respectively.
TREEHOUSE MASTERS, which aired its second episode, "Luck O' the Irish Cottage," Friday, June 7, at 10 PM ET/PT, grew its audience 10 percent since last week's series debut of 1.3M P2+ viewers. Versus week one, the series also pulled in 931K HH (+1%), 678K P18-49 (+31%), 649K P25-54 (+7%), 359K W18-49 (+57%), 308K W25-54 (+22%) and 319K M18-49 (+11%). TREEHOUSE MASTERS helped Animal Planet rank among the top-three, ad-supported cable networks in the timeslot among Persons and Women 18-49 and Persons and Women 25-54, excluding movies and sports.
"Popcorn on the High Seas," the TANKED spring season finale, which aired prior to TREEHOUSE MASTERS at 9 PM ET/PT, also performed swimmingly, hooking 821K HH, 575K P25-54, 562K P18-49, 302K W25-54 and 272K M25-54. TANKED helped the network snare a #2 ranking in the timeslot across all ad-supported cable among W18-49 and a #3 ranking in the timeslot among P18-49, excluding movies and sports.
