"America's Got Talent" Delivers the Best Demo Rating for Any Wednesday Network Telecast Since the May Sweep
NBC spins the numbers for Wednesday, July 10.

[via press release from NBC]

Wednesday Primetime Results:

· From 9-10 p.m. ET, "America's Got Talent" (2.7/8 in 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall) delivered the #1 rating of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key measures on an evening that included two "MasterChef" editions, "Big Brother" and other originals. From its first half-hour to its second, "Talent" grew by 16 percent in adults 18-49 (to a 2.9 rating from a 2.5).

· The 2.7 for "Talent" is the best rating for any Wednesday primetime telecast on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox since the May sweep. It's also NBC's highest rating in the time period since November 28 ("SNL" special, 2.8 in the hour).

· In total viewers, the 10.5 million for "Talent" is also the top result since the May sweep for any Wednesday primetime program on ABC, CBS, NBC or Fox, and it's NBC's biggest overall audience in the time period since November 7, 2012 (10.7 million for a special Wednesday edition of "The Voice").

· At 10 p.m. ET, the debut of "Camp" (1.5/5 in adults 18-49, 5.2 million viewers overall) ranked #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key ratings category -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers - versus ABC's original "The Lookout" and CBS's encore "Criminal Minds." "Camp" earned NBC's top 18-49 and total-viewer results in the slot, excluding Stanley Cup Hockey coverage, since May 22.

· "Camp" scored the second-highest premiere rating for a scripted-series premiere out of eight new scripted shows this summer on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49, behind only CBS's "Under the Dome."

· From 8-9 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall) earned NBC's top non-sports rating in the slot since May 29. The "Talent" rebroadcast finished #2 in the slot among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in total viewers.

· The 8-9 p.m. "America's Got Talent" rebroadcast is up 18% vs. last week's Wednesday 8-10 p.m. encore (1.3 vs. 1.1). In total viewers, the increase is 22% (6.214 million vs. 5.112 million).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.5/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.1/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.6/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
