TNT Continued to Claim Victories Last Week with Its Summer Originals

TNT continued to claim victories last week with its summer originals, including:

- Basic cable's Top 2 dramas with total viewers: Rizzoli & Isles and Major Crimes

- Basic cable's #1 drama with adults 18-49: Falling Skies

- Basic cable's Top 3 dramas with adults 25-54: Falling Skies, Rizzoli & Isles, Major Crimes

Last Monday's episode of the TNT hit Major Crimes has garnered 6.6 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery (+4% vs. the prior week), including 1.9 million adults 25-54 and 1.4 million adults 18-49. King & Maxwell has drawn more than 4.3 million viewers in Live + 3 (+8% vs. the prior week), including 1.1 million adults 25-54 (+3% vs. the prior week) and 850,000 adults 18-49 (+1% vs. the prior week).

Tuesday's episode of Rizzoli & Isles has grown to 7.1 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery, including 2.5 million adults 25-54 and 1.9 million adults 18-49. Meanwhile, Tuesday's episode of Perception has attracted 4.6 million viewers in Live + 3, with 1.6 million adults 25-54 and 1.3 million adults 18-49.

Sunday's episode of Falling Skies scored double-digit growth over the prior week. The sci-fi drama grabbed 3.7 million viewers in Live + Same Day (+12%), with 1.9 million adults 25-54 (+20%) and 1.6 million adults 18-49 (+12%).

Also scoring growth for TNT was Wednesday night's episode of the light-hearted legal drama Franklin & Bash, which has brought in 3.0 million viewers in Live + 3 (+2% vs. the prior week). In the demos, the episode has garnered 1.3 million adults 25-54 (+6%) and 1.2 million adults 18-49 (+9%).

TNT's originals continue to do extremely well in time-shifted viewing. Highlights include the July 1 episode of Major Crimes, which topped out at 6.9 million viewers and 2.2 million adults 25-54 in Live + 7 delivery, both growing by +8% over the prior week's episode. The July 2 episode of Rizzoli & Isles finished with 8.7 million viewers and more than 3 million adults 25-54 in Live + 7. The July 3 episode of Franklin & Bash garnered 3.7 million viewers (+9% vs. the previous episode) and 1.5 million adults 25-54 (+4%) in Live + 7. And the July 7 episode of Falling Skies scored a final tally of 5.3 million viewers and 2.9 million adults 25-54 in Live + 7.

Adult Swim

Adult Swim's Total Day Delivery averages ranked #1 across the board among adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 on basic cable this week. Compared to the same week in 2012, Total day delivery grew among adults 18-24 by 13%, adults 18-34 by 5%, adults 18-49 by 3%, men 18-24 by 6%, and men 18-34 by 1%.

Across Primetime (Broadcast definition), Adult Swim ranked #2 among all basic cable networks for delivery of adults 18-34. Compared to the same week in 2012, Prime delivery grew among adults 18-24 by 11%, adults 18-34 by 5%, adults 18-49 by 1%, and men 18-24 by 11%.

Sunday night's new episode premiere of Bob's Burgers (11 p.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 and men 18-24 & 18-34, while the Monday episode premiere (10 p.m.) increased delivery among adults 18-49 (6%) and men 18-34 (4%) & men 18-49 (12%) vs. the same time period last year.

The Saturday night TOONAMI block new episodes of Naruto (12:30 a.m.), One Piece (1 a.m.), and Soul Eater (1:30 a.m.) each ranked #1 in their respective timeslots with all men 18-24, 18-34 and 18-49, while Bleach (12 a.m.) ranked #1 among men 18-24 & 18-34. All TOONAMI premieres grew by double-digits - ranging between 10% and 62% - among all key adults vs. the same time period last year.

Adult Swim programming - including Family Guy, American Dad, Bob's Burgers, The Cleveland Show, Robot Chicken and NTSF:SD:SUV:: - accounted for 24 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable for the week among adults 18-34, and 27 of the top 50 telecasts among men 18-34, both more than any other network.

TBS

With its lineup of hit comedy series, TBS once again won the week as basic cable's #1 network among adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 in primetime.

Thursday night's episode of the hit TBS comedy Sullivan & Son scored strong growth over the prior week, garnering more than 2.4 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery (+9%). In key demos, Thursday's episode has drawn 1.3 million adults 18-49 in Live + 3 (+13% vs. the prior week) and 753,000 adults 18-34 (+9%).

TBS's new hidden-camera series Deal With It launched Wednesday night with 2.2 million viewers in Live + 3, the network's best new series launch so far this year. In the demos, Deal With It has averaged 1.2 million adults 18-49 and 564,000 adults 18-34 in Live + 3.

For the week, TBS claimed 21 of basic cable's Top 25 primetime sitcom telecasts among total viewers and adults 18-49. TBS also scored and 19 of the Top 25 among adults 18-34.

Cartoon Network

Across the third week of July, Cartoon Network scored as the #1 television destination for all boys 2-11,6-11 & 9-14 on Monday night (7-9 p.m.), and the #1 TV network (7-9 p.m.) among boys 2-11 & 6-11 on Tuesday night and Wednesday night.

Monday night's new episode of the Primetime Emmy(R)-nominated Adventure Time (7:30 p.m.) charted as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 6-11, and #1 in its time period among kids 9-14 and all boy demos. Similarly, a new episode of the Emmy(R)-nominated Regular Show (Monday 8 p.m.) claimed the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14, and #1 in its time period with all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14.

Tuesday night's performance earned delivery gains among kids 2-11 & 6-11 and boys 2-11 & 6-11 - ranging between 1% and 10% - propelled by the new episode premiere of Teen Titans GO! (7:30 p.m.), which ranked #1 in its timeslot among all boy demos and scored delivery increases among boys 2-11 (+10%) & boys 6-11 (+11%). Earlier in the evening, Johnny Test (7 p.m.) also ranked #1 in its time period among boys 6-11.

Wednesday night's new episode premiere of the award-winning The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30p) ranked #1 in its time period with all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, while new episodes of Annoying Orange (7 p.m.) and Legends of Chima (8 p.m.) each ranked #1 in their respective timeslots among boys 2-11 & 6-11.

A new episode of Pokémon BW: Adventures in Unova (Saturday, 8:30 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among boys 9-14, and increased delivery among kids 9-14 and boys 9-14 vs. the same time last year. Additionally, a new episode of Cartoon Network's newest original series Beware the Batman (Saturday, 10 a.m.) increased delivery of kids 6-11 (2%) & 9-14 (27%) and boys 9-14 (42%) vs. the same time last year.

truTV

truTV enjoyed strong performances from three of its original series last week. Lizard Lick Towing (Monday at 10 p.m.) led the pack with 1.8 million viewers. The show ranked as one of ad-supported cable's Top 5 programs in the timeslot with adults 18-49 (932,000) and men 18-49 (475,000).

South Beach Tow (Wednesday at 10 p.m.) drew 1.8 million viewers, its biggest audience since returning for the second half of season two. The show also scored strong growth over the prior week, with total viewers up 26%, adults 18-49 up 28% and men 18-49 up 24%.

Storage Hunters (Sunday at 9 p.m.) drew 1.3 million viewers, a +13% boost over the prior week's episode. In the demos, the show garnered 467,000 adults 18-49 (+14% vs. last week) and 257,000 men 18-49 (even with last week). It also grew its delivery of adults 18-34 by +27% and men 18-34 by +22% compared to the previous week.
