In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday night:
· An encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host Anne Hathaway and musical guest Rihanna, averaged a 2.5/7 in metered-market households. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Saturday Night Live" averaged a 1.2 rating, 6 share in adults 18-49. "SNL" posted the top rating of the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in the Local People Meters, out-rating all primetime programming on those networks.
Saturday Primetime Results:
· At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "American Ninja Warrior" (0.5/2 in 18-49, 2.1 million viewers overall) is currently tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and is #1 or tied for #1 among those networks in all other key demos (pending updates). Week to week, "American Ninja Warrior" is currently up a tenth of a rating point or 25% in 18-49 (to a 0.5 from a 0.4) and also up 25% in total viewers (2.105 million vs. 1.680 million).
· At 9 p.m. ET, "WrestleMania: The World Television Premiere" (0.6/2 in 18-49, 1.9 million viewers overall) delivered four-week highs in the time period for NBC in adults 18-49 and total viewers (since July 6, "American Ninja Warrior"), pending updates. In the time period, "WrestleMania" ranked #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and finished #1 among those networks in adults, men and women 18-34, men 18-49 and men 25-54.
· At 10 p.m. ET, "Do No Harm" (0.4/1 in 18-49, 1.7 million viewers overall) is currently matching its highest 18-49 rating to date for a Saturday telecast and generating its biggest overall audience for a Saturday episode since June 29.
Friday Primetime Results:
· At 8 p.m. ET, an encore telecast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (0.6/3 in 18-49, 3.0 million viewers overall) matched NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the half-hour since June 28 ("Dateline NBC") and attracted the network's biggest audience in the time period since that same date.
· At 8:30, a second rebroadcast of "Betty White's Off Their Rockers" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall) earned NBC's best 18-49 and total-viewer results in the time slot since June 28.
· "Dateline NBC" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) tied for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 (1.4 rating) and was #1 outright among those networks in total viewers. It's the sixth week in a row "Dateline" has ranked #1 or tied for #1 in its Friday time period among those networks in those three categories.
· In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, "Dateline NBC" delivered a 7% margin of victory in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (with a 1.6 rating vs. a 1.5 for ABC's second-place "20/20").
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 2.7/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2,0/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
