FOX Ranks No. 2 for the Week Among Adults 18-34 and No. 3 Adults 18-49

THE X FACTOR Premiere Leads FOX to 14th Wednesday Night Win in 17 Weeks

MASTERCHEF Finale Ranks As No. 1 Show of Night

FOX's week was highlighted by the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE and MASTERCHEF finales, as well as the season three premiere of THE X FACTOR. The network ranked No. 2 for the week among Adults 18-34 and No. 3 Adults 18-49.

On Wednesday, THE X FACTOR premiere ranked No. 1 in its time period among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. In addition, the premiere grew by +23% (from 2.2 to a 2.7) after three days of post-same day viewing, which marks a significant uptick in the % of its A18-49 performance accounted for by post-same day playback within 3 days versus last season (+23% vs. +15% for last year's 2-hour premiere) and the same absolute ratings gain as last season (+0.5).

Also on Wednesday, the MASTERCHEF FINALE was the highest-rated show of the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and all key demos and grew +9% from last week in Adults 18-49 (vs. 2.2/6).

Part two of THE X FACTOR-THURSDAY premiere was up +19% from Wednesday's premiere in Adults 18-34 (1.9/7 vs. 1.6/6) and up +6% in Total Viewers (6.9 Mil vs. 6.5 Mil). THE X-FACTOR-THURSDAY was the night's highest-rated show among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. The night marks FOX's highest rated Thursday since the American Idol finale.

Program and Nightly Highlights

Monday: FOX ranked No. 5 for the night among the seven broadcast networks in Adults 18-49, airing back-to-back encores of BONES (0.8/2 each).

Tuesday: FOX ranked No. 2 for the night among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. Interrupted from 9-9:18pm by the Presidential Address (which was sustained), the season finale of SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE (1.4/4) matched the previous week's delivery in Adults 18-49.

Wednesday: FOX ranked No. 1 for the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and Total Viewers. FOX has ranked No. 1 among Adults 18-49 for 14 of the past 17 Wednesdays.

THE X FACTOR premiere ranked No. 1 in its time period among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34. Thursday: FOX ranked No. 1 for the night among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34, Teens and all key female demos. The two-hour Thursday premiere of THE X-FACTOR (2.2/7) was even with from Wednesday's premiere in Adults 18-49 (9/11/13, 2.2/7, 8-9p). THE X FACTOR-THURSDAY was up +19% from Wednesday's premiere in Adults 18-34 (1.9/7 vs. 1.6/6) and up +6% in Total Viewers (6.9 Mil vs. 6.5 Mil). THE X FACTOR-THURSDAY was the night's highest-rated show among Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Teens. The night marks FOX's highest-rated Thursday since the American Idol finale.

Friday: FOX ranked No. 5 among Adults 18-49 in Friday prime. A special Encore of the SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE Season Finale delivered a 0.5/2 from 8-10pm.

Saturday: FOX placed No. 2 among Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34 with COLLEGE FOOTBALL ON FOX: OHIO STATE VS. CAL (1.2/4).

Sunday: With an NFL over-run in part of the country until 8:42p, FOX's encore animation line-up (AMERICAN DAD (0.6/2), THE SIMPSONS 7:30p (0.8/2), THE SIMPSONS 8p (1.5/4), BOB'S BURGERS (1.0/2), FAMILY GUY 9p (1.4/3) and FAMILY GUY 9:30p (1.6/4)) ranked No. 4 in Sunday prime among Adults 18-49.
