NFL ON FOX STILL ON RECORD-SETTING PACE
The NFL on FOX posted a strong 12.5/27 with 20.9 million viewers on Sunday (9/22) for a seven-game single-header led by a competitive Packers - Bengals game. Sunday's rating is up +13% over the 11.1/24, 18.4 million viewers posted for last year's Week 3 single-header, and marks the third consecutive week in which the NFL on FOX is up over the same week last year.
Season-to-date, the NFL on FOX off to its highest-rated and most-watched best start ever, averaging a 12.8/26 household rating/share with 21.6 million viewers, +10% over last year's 11.6/24 and 19.3 million viewers. This year's average household rating is +41% ahead of what the NFL on FOX was averaging through three weeks just five years ago (9.1/19, 14.5 million viewers).
FOX NFL SUNDAY averaged a solid 3.1/8 last weekend (9/22) with 4.7 million viewers, matching households ratings average, and finishing +55% better than The NFL Today on CBS (2.0/5, 2.9 million viewers).
Season-to-date, FOX NFL SUNDAY is averaging a 3.3/8 with 5.0 million viewers, +6% over last year's 3.1/8 with 4.7 million viewers and +50% better than The NFL Today on CBS (2.2/6, 3.2 million viewers).
