TBS's coverage of the 2013 National League Championship Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Los Angeles Dodgers accounted for four of basic cable's Top 15 programs for the week. The NLCS also helped TBS rank as basic cable's #1 network in primetime among total viewers and adults 18-49.
TBS's NLCS coverage averaged a 2.3 U.S. HH rating and 5 million total viewers, up 10% and 9%, respectively, compared with the last time TBS televised the NLCS in 2011. Throughout the NLCS series, TBS averaged more than 5.5 million viewers for four primetime telecasts, a +14% increase over 2011 (4.9 million viewers for five primetime telecasts).
Overall, the 2013 MLB Postseason on TBS averaged 4.2 million viewers for 24 game telecasts, a +2% boost compared to the same number of telecasts in 2012 (4.1 million viewers). TBS's 2013 MLB Postseason coverage matched last year's 2.7 U.S. HH rating.
TBS's enormously popular telecasts of The Big Bang Theory had another stellar week, delivering 19 of basic cable's Top 20 sitcom telecasts among total viewers and 18 of the Top 20 among adults 18-49.
Adult Swim
Adult Swim's weekly Total Day delivery average ranked #1 among adults 18-24, 18-34 & 18-49 and men 18-24 & 18-34 on basic cable. Compared to the same week in 2012, Total Day delivery grew among adults 18-34 by +7% and adults 18-49 by +6%.
Among Adult Swim's original programming, Thursday's premiere episode of Childrens Hospital (12 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 & 18-34 and men 18-24 & 18-34. The Eric Andre Show (12:30 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 & 18-34. Hot Package (12:45 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among adults 18-24 & 18-34 and men 18-24.
Original series Aqua TV Show Show (Sunday, 12 a.m.) ranked #1 in its time period among all targeted adults and men 18-24 & 18-34. The episode premiere of China, IL (11:30 a.m.) grew year-to-year among adults 18-24 & 18-34.
Anime series Soul Eater ranked #1 in its timeslot with men 18-24, while Sword Art Online ranked #1 in its time period among adults & men 18-24. All Saturday night TOONAMI premiere episodes grew by double digits with all young adult demos vs. last year.
Adult Swim programming accounted for 22 of the top 50 telecasts on basic cable for the week with adults 18-34 and 17 of the top 50 with men 18-34, both more than any other network.

Cartoon Network was the #1 television network among boys 9-14 on Monday Night (7-9 p.m.). The premiere of Regular Show (7:30 p.m.) scored as the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14, and #1 in its time period among boys 6-11. The premiere of Uncle Grandpa (8:00p) ranked #1 in its time period among all boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14, while Adventure Time (7:00p) ranked #1 among boys 9-14.
Cartoon Network was the #1 television network among boys 2-11, 6-11 & 9-14 on Tuesday Night (7-9 p.m.). The premiere of Total Drama All-Stars (7 p.m.) was the #1 telecast of the day among boys 9-14, #1 in its time period among boys 6-11, and earned year-to-year gains among kids 9-14 and boys 6-11/9-14. The Amazing World of Gumball (7:30 p.m.) won its timeslot among all boy demos, earning double-digit growth among all targeted kids and boys vs. the same time period last year.
Cartoon Network was the #1 television network among boys 6-11 on Thursday Night (7-9 p.m.). A premiere episode of Dragons: Defenders of Berk (7:30 p.m.) ranked #1 in its timeslot among all targeted boys, growing delivery among boys 2-11 & 6-11 vs. the same time period last year. A Legends of Chima premiere episode (7 p.m.) ranked #1 in its timeslot among boys 6-11 & 9-14.
TNT
TNT's real-life drama Cold Justice has drawn 1.8 million viewers in Live + 3 delivery for last Tuesday's episode, a +2% boost over the prior week. Growth was considerably stronger among key demos, with the episode garnering 738,000 adults 25-54 in Live + 3 (+20% vs. the prior week) and 520,000 adults 18-49 (+7%).
truTV
truTV's breakout hit Hardcore Pawn (Tuesday at 9 p.m.) landed 1.5 million viewers last week, earning a Top 5 ranking among all ad-supported cable programs in its timeslot. The show also grew its deliveries of total viewers, adults 18-49 and men 18-49 by double-digit percentages compared to the same timeslot last year.
truTV's online destination, truTV.com, drew 1.7 million visits last week, a remarkable +64% jump over the prior week and +53% over the same week last year. In addition, the site delivered 10 million page views (+60% vs. prior week), with 1.3 million daily unique visitors (+45%).
