For 2013 OWN Delivers +16% Increase in Women 25-54, +21% in Total Viewers and +76% African American Women 25-54 in Primetime Versus 2012

OWN Is The #5 Cable Network in 2013 For African American Women

Los Angeles - OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network closed out 2013 on top achieving its second consecutive year of double digit growth across key demos. The network delivered a +16% increase in W25-54, +21% in total viewers and +76% in African American W25-54 in primetime versus 2012.

Additionally, OWN ranked as the #5 primetime cable network in 2013 among all African American women and ranked in the top three cable networks on Tuesday nights (#2), Wednesday nights (#2) and Saturday nights (#3), among African American W25-54.

OWN's popular Saturday night lineup boasts the night's top six original series for African American W25-54 including "Welcome to Sweetie Pie's, "Iyanla: Fix My Life," "Houston Beauty," "Six Little McGhees," "Raising Whitley" and "Life with La Toya."

Tuesday and Wednesday nights ratings gains were driven by the network's popular scripted series from Tyler Perry, "The Haves and the Have Nots," "Love Thy Neighbor" and "For Better or Worse." "The Haves and the Have Nots" is Tuesday night's #4 original cable series for W25-54 and the #2 original series on all of television for African American W25-54. "Love Thy Neighbor" is Wednesday night's #2 original cable series and #3 series on all of television for African American W25-54, and "For Better or Worse" is Wednesday night's #4 original cable series and #5 on all of television for African-American W25-54.

This past season of "Iyanla: Fix My Life" was up double digits in W25-54 and total viewers vs. the prior season. For 2013, the series ranked as the #2 Saturday night original series in all of television for African American W25-54.

The year's top five "Oprah's Next Chapter" episodes included:

· Lance Armstrong Part 1 - 3.2 million total viewers

· Lance Armstrong Part 2 - 1.8 million total viewers

· Beyonce - 1.3 million viewers

· Tina Turner - 1.03 million viewers

· Black Women in Hollywood featuring Alfre Woodard, Viola Davis, Phylicia Rashad and Gabrielle Union - 1.0 million total viewers
