Monday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX Pulls in Front with "Sleepy Hollow" Finale

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/20/14):

FOX (6.932 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.3, #1) edged out the demo crown on Monday with a new "Sleepy Hollow" (6.838 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.2, #6) followed by the season finale of "Sleepy Hollow" (7.027 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.4, #3).

ABC (8.166 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) then claimed a close second place with fresh installments of "The Bachelor" (7.824 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T4) and "Castle" (8.852 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #8).

Next up was CBS (7.623 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.0, #3) with originals from "How I Met Your Mother" (8.756 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.0, #1), "2 Broke Girls" (8.905 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.7, #2), "Mike & Molly" (8.782 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #7), "Mom" (8.109 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.9, #9) and "Intelligence" (5.593 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #12).

Meanwhile, NBC (5.873 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.7, #4) served up new episodes of "Hollywood Game Night" (4.719 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.3, #11), another "Hollywood Game Night" (4.231 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.5, #10) and "The Blacklist" (8.669 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.3, #T4).

And finally, originals from "Hart of Dixie" (1.180 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T13) and "Beauty and the Beast" (0.931 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T13) on The CW (1.056 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Dixie" delivered a 0.5 rating while "Beast" posted a 0.4 rating.

·From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

·From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

·At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (10.337 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.0, #1) held onto the top spot on Monday thanks to its mix of "How I Met Your Mother" (10.094 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.7, #T1), a repeat "The Big Bang Theory" (10.445 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.2, #4), "2 Broke Girls" (11.472 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.7, #T1), "Mike & Molly" (10.849 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.3, #3) and "Hawaii Five-0" (9.583 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.2, #9).

FOX (9.426 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.7, #2) then took home the silver with a new "Bones" (8.473 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.3, #8) followed by the debut of "The Following" (10.379 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 3.1, #5).
