CBS rocked and rolled to a weekly win in viewers, adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the week ending Jan. 26, Week 18 of the 2013-2014 television season.
CBS was first in viewers (11.28m), adults 18-49 (2.7/07) and adults 25-54 (3.4/08). Compared to the same week last year, CBS was up +26% in viewers, +31% in adults 25-54 and +50% in adults 18-49. Season-to-date, CBS has expanded its lead in viewers (now +2.3 million viewers ahead of second-place NBC) and is tied for first among adults 25-54.
The week was highlighted by THE 56TH GRAMMY AWARDS, which averaged 28.51 million viewers, the second-largest audience for the awards broadcast in 21 years (1993).
Even with a week comprised primarily of rebroadcasts, CBS had the week's top three programs and 13 of the top 20 programs in viewers. Rebroadcasts of NCIS, NCIS: LOS ANGELES, THE BIG BANG THEORY, THE BIG BANG THEORY 9:00 PM SPECIAL and BLUE BLOODS delivered more viewers than any scripted program on the competition. NCIS (R) delivered more viewers than any program on the competition.
In adults 18-49 (including ties), CBS had five of the top 10 broadcasts - THE 56TH ANNUAL GRAMMY AWARDS (#1), HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER (#6), THE BIG BANG THEORY (R) (#7), 2 BROKE GIRLS (#9) and THE BIG BANG THEORY 9PM SPECIAL (R) (S) (#10). CBS had 8 of the top 20 programs - more than any other network.

Compared to last year, the awards broadcast added +130,000 viewers (from 28.38m, +1%). Compared to the last time the ceremony aired in January due to the Olympics (Jan. 31, 2010), THE 56TH GRAMMY AWARDS was up +1% in adults 25-54 (from 10.6/24), even in both adults 18-49 and adults 18-34 and added +2.64m viewers (from 25.87m, +10%).

HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER
· HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was first in viewers (8.83m), adults 25-54 (3.6/09), adults 18-49 (3.1/08) and adults 18-34 (2.6/08), up +3% in adults 18-49 (from 3.0/09) and added +240,000 viewers (from 8.59m, +3%). HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER was the night's #1 program in adults 25-54, adults 18-49 and adults 18-34.
2 BROKE GIRLS
· 2 BROKE GIRLS was first in viewers (9.03m), adults 25-54 (3.4/08) and adults 18-49 (2.7/07), was even in adults 18-49 and added +80,000 viewers (from 8.95m, +1%). 2 BROKE GIRLS was the night's #1 program in viewers.
