Thursday Primetime Results:
· "Parenthood" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 3.8 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew week to week by 9% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.2 from a 1.1) and 6% in total viewers (3.801 million vs. 3.591 million). From its first half-hour to its second, "Parenthood" maintained its rating in adults 18-49 (1.2 vs. 1.2) and adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.4) and grew 1% in total viewers, despite the 10 p.m. hour. In the time period, "Parenthood" is tied for #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-34 (1.0 rating) and #2 outright among those nets in women 18-34 (1.4)
· L+3 Time-Shifting: The previous "Parenthood" grew by 82% or 0.91 of a rating point in 18-49 going from L+SD to L+3 ratings (to a 2.02 from a 1.11) and by 2.1 million viewers overall (to 5.7 million from 3.6 million).
· "Community" (1.0/3 in adults 18-49, 2.8 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET) matched last week's rating in 18-49 and is currently up 9% in total viewers (2.787 million vs. 2.562 million). L+3 Time Shifting: The prior week's "Community" grew by 48% or a season-high 0.48 of a rating point going from these L+SD results to L+3 (to a 1.47 from a 0.99)
· "Parks and Recreation" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 2.9 million viewers overall from 8:30-9:01 p.m. ET) is up 9% week to week in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 rating from a 1.1) and up 15% in total viewers (2.890 million vs. 2.521 million). This week's "Parks" built on its lead-in by 20% in 18-49. L+3 Time Shifting: The prior week's "Parks and Recreation" grew by 42% or 0.45 of a rating point going from these L+SD results to L+3 (to a 1.53 from a 1.08)
· "Hollywood Game Night" (1.1/3 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall from 9:01-10 p.m.) finished within a tenth of a point of last week's 1.2 for the show's first Thursday telecast this season. "Hollywood Game Night" maintained its rating or grew from half-hour to half-hour in every key measure, including gains of +9% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.2 from a 1.1) and +15% in adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.3).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.2/9; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/6.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "Tonight," 1.3/6; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/5 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
