Friday Primetime Results:
· "Dateline NBC" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 6.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew from its first half-hour to its second in most key measures, including gains of 30% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.3 rating from a 1.0), 20% in adults 25-54 (1.8 vs. 1.5) and 21% in women 25-54 (2.3 vs. 1.9). In the time period, "Dateline" ranked #2 among the Big 4 nets in most key measures and tied for #1 in women 18-49 and women 25-54.
· "Grimm" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 5.4 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) captured its top rating since Dec. 6 (1.6) and equaled its highest rating since opening its season Oct. 25 with a 1.8. Week to week, "Grimm" is up 7% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.6 from a 1.5) and versus two weeks ago, "Grimm" is up 14% (1.6 vs. 1.4). L+3 Time-Shifting: The prior week's "Grimm" increased by 62% going from these next-day L+SD ratings to L+3 (to a 2.37 from a 1.46) and by more than 2.3 million persons in total viewers (to 8.0 million from 5.7 million).
· "Grimm" is the #1 scripted series of the night on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49.
· "Hannibal" (0.9/3 in 18-49 and 2.6 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) is up 13% versus last week's 0.8 rating in 18-49 and up 4% in total viewers versus last week's 2.502 million (pending updates). From its first half-hour to its second, "Hannibal" maintained its 18-49 rating (0.9 vs. 0.9), despite the 10 p.m. hour. L+3 Time-Shifting: The prior week's "Hannibal" grew by 63% going from its next-day L+SD rating to L+3 (to a 1.34 from a 0.82) and by 1.1 million viewers overall (3.6 million vs. 2.5 million).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.5/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.8/7.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.2/5; "Late Show," 0.5/2 and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.0/4.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 2.1/6 in metered-market households and a 0.6/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.6/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.1/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 1.0/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
