Monday's Broadcast Ratings: "DWTS" Return Tops Viewers, "The Voice" Holds Onto Demo Crown

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (3/17/14):

ABC (13.273 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) was the most-watched network on Monday with the return of "Dancing with the Stars" (14.984 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.5, #4) and a new "Castle" (9.854 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T6).

NBC (12.576 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.6, #1) however held onto the demo crown with new episodes of "The Voice" (13.304 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 4.0, #1) and "The Blacklist" (11.121 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.8, #3).

Next up was CBS (6.692 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.8, #3) with originals from "How I Met Your Mother" (7.881 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.9, #2), "2 Broke Girls" (7.095 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.1, #5), "Mike & Molly" (7.594 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T6), "Mom" (7.054 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.8, #T6) and "Intelligence" (5.265 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #11).

Meanwhile, FOX (4.775 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #4) offered up fresh installments of "Bones" (5.562 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9) and "The Following" (3.987 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T9).

And finally, The CW (1.103 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5) served up a new "Star-Crossed" (1.052 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #13) and the relocated "The Tomorrow People" (1.154 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #12). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Star-Crossed" delivered a 0.3 rating while "People" posted a 0.3 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.4/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.8/4.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.5/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.7/6 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.7/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

CBS (8.009 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.4, #2) then had to settle for second place with originals from "How I Met Your Mother" (7.348 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.9, #2), "Rules of Engagement" (6.632 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T7), "2 Broke Girls" (8.349 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.7, #3), "Mike & Molly" (8.227 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T5) and "Hawaii Five-0" (8.749 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.1, #9).

Next up was FOX (7.201 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T3) with new episodes of "Bones" (7.309 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 2.0, #10) and "The Following" (7.093 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.4, #T5).

Meanwhile, NBC (6.063 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.2, #T3) offered up the season finales of "The Biggest Loser" (7.333 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.6, #4) and "Deception" (3.521 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.3, #11).

And finally, a new "The Carrie Diaries" (1.042 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.5, #12) and a repeat of "Hart of Dixie" (0.507 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) closed out the night on The CW (0.775 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5).
