MTV'S "REAL WORLD: EXPLOSION" DELIVERS HIGHEST-RATED SEASON IN THREE YEARS

New York, NY (April 7, 2014) - MTV's "Real World: EX-Plosion" had its highest-rated season since 2011 with an average 1.9 million total viewers and a strong 1.8 P12-34 rating (Live+3). The series was up 44 percent vs. last season, and experienced 33 percent growth from the season debut to the finale. The series' ratings grew with +3 playback an average of nearly 40 percent among MTV's core demo of 12-34 year olds. It was also the #1 program across all television in its time slot with P18-24. The finale, which aired on Wednesday, April 2, garnered 1.7 million total viewers and a 1.7 P12-34 rating (Live+3). It was also the #1 program in its time slot across all TV in the 10 p.m. time slot with P18-24.
In the "Real World: EX-PLosion" reunion airing on Wednesday, April 9 at 10:00PM ET/PT, the original housemates and their exes get together one last time. Did the roommates leave San Francisco as a family or can they barely stand being in the same room? Find out what really went down when the exes moved in: who is still together, who is broken up, and who is in between. We'll see one roommate plea for their ex to take them back, and the whole group finally comes clean about the shadiest roommate in the house.
