"NCIS: Los Angeles" Sweeps Time Period
CBS Wins Tuesday in Viewers and Adults 25-54
NCIS was Tuesday's most-watched program and posted week-to-week growth in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54, while NCIS: LOS ANGELES swept its time period, according to Nielsen preliminary live plus same day ratings for April 8.
NCIS was first in viewers (17.18m), adults 25-54 (3.7/11) and second in adults 18-49 (2.6/08, -0.2 behind "The Voice"). Compared to last week, NCIS was up +3% in adults 25-54 (from 3.6/10), +8% in adults 18-49 (from 2.4/08) and added +30,000 viewers (from 17.15m). NCIS was the night's #1 program in both viewers and adults 25-54 and the #1 scripted program in adults 18-49.
NCIS: LOS ANGELES was first in viewers (14.37m), adults 25-54 (3.3/08) and adults 18-49 (2.3/07, +44% ahead of second-place NBC).
At 10:00 PM, a rebroadcast of PERSON OF INTEREST was first in viewers (8.02m) and was second in both adults 25-54 (1.9/05) and adults 18-49 (1.2/04).
For the night, CBS was first in viewers (13.19m), adults 25-54 (3.0/08) and second in adults 18-49 (2.0/06, -0.1 behind NBC). CBS won Tuesday for the seventh consecutive week, beating second-place NBC by more than +5 million viewers (vs. 8.08m, +63%).
