ABC's "Grey's Anatomy" Nearly Quadruples Its Lead-in at 9pm to Dominate Its Slot in Adults 18-49
ABC Thursday Prime (8-11pm - 4.9 million and 1.3/4 in AD18-49): With a repeat Grey's Anatomy at 8pm, an original Grey's at 9pm and Black Box at 10pm, ABC finished #2 on Thursday in Total Viewers (tie) and was #1 on the night with Women 18-34 for the 11th week in a row. ABC's Grey's Anatomy was the #2 TV series of the night in Adults 18-49, behind only CBS' The Big Bang Theory, and finished #1 with Women 18-34 (tie).

Grey's Anatomy (9-10pm - 7.5 million and 2.3/7 in AD18-49): Nearly quadrupling its Adult 18-49 lead-in at 9pm (+283%), ABC's Grey's Anatomy once again dominated regular competition, beating CBS' comedies by 35% (Two and a Half Men finale/Bad Teacher = 1.7/5), Fox with American Idol and the Surviving Jack finale by 64% (1.4/4) and the first hour of NBC's American Comedy Awards by 130% (1.0/3). Grey's also won its hour in Total Viewers, Adults 18-34 and Adults 25-54.
· In its 10th season, Grey's Anatomy is up over the same point last year in both Total Viewers (+10% - 12.1 million vs. 11.0 million) and Adults 18-49 (+7% - 4.4/2 vs. 4.1/11), delivering its highest numbers in 4 and 3 years, respectively - since the 2009-10 and 2010-11 seasons. Grey's is the 2013-14 season's #1 broadcast drama in Adults 18-49 and Adults 18-34.
Black Box (10-11pm - 4.4 million and 1.1/3 in AD18-49): In the 10pm hour, ABC's Black Box beat the final hour of NBC's American Comedy Awards by 1.2 million viewers (4.4 million vs. 3.2 million) and by 10% in Adults 18-49 (1.1/3 vs. 1.0/3). In addition, the ABC drama ranked #1 with Women 18-34, leading CBS' Elementary by 38%.
