Friday's Broadcast Ratings: Stanley Cup Finals Go Out on Top

Here are the highlights of the 12 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/13/14):

NBC (5.258 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) was the network to beat on Friday thanks to its coverage of the "NHL Stanley Cup Finals, Game 5" (5.258 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1).

ABC (5.169 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then snagged the silver with its mix of "Shark Tank" (4.458 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (5.005 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3) and "20/20" (6.044 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2).

Next up was CBS (5.124 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.7, #3) and its repeat combination of "Undercover Boss" (3.997 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #5), "Hawaii Five-0" (4.960 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.6, #7) and "Blue Bloods" (6.416 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.7, #6).

Meanwhile, FOX (1.365 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) served up encores of "MasterChef" (1.672 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) and "24: Live Another Day" (1.058 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11).

And finally, repeats of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.401 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #10), another "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.590 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.5, #T8) and "Hart of Dixie" (0.699 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11) on The CW (1.097 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T4) closed out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Whose Line" posted a 0.3 rating at 8:00/7:00c and 0.4 rating at 8:30/7:30c while "Dixie" managed a 0.1 rating.

In late-night metered market ratings (via NBC's press release):

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.6/6, delayed by a Stanley Cup hockey overrun; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/4 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.2/5 with an encore.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/6, delayed by a Stanley Cup overrun; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.0/4 in metered-market households, with an encore delayed by a Stanley Cup overrun) tied CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49, with an encore delayed by a Stanley Cup overrun) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

ABC (4.465 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) held onto the demo crown on Friday with its mix of "Shark Tank" (4.356 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3), "Primetime: What Would You Do?" (4.048 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) and "20/20" (4.991 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1).

NBC (5.324 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #2) then took home the silver with new episodes of "Dateline NBC" (5.691 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #4) and "Rock Center With Brian Williams" (4.592 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T5).

Next up was CBS (4.703 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #3) and its repeat lineup of "Undercover Boss" (4.127 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T5), "Hawaii Five-0" (4.261 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.7, #8) and "Blue Bloods" (5.723 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.8, #7).

Meanwhile, FOX (2.077 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.5, #4) offered up second runs of "Bones" (2.712 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.6, #9) and "The Following" (1.443 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.4, #10).

And finally, repeats of "Nikita" (0.658 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11) and "Supernatural" (0.710 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.2, #T11) on The CW (0.684 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) rounded out the night. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Nikita" delivered a 0.1 rating at 8:00/7:00c and "Supernatural" a 0.1 rating at 9:00/8:00c.
