Monday Results:
NBC is currently #1 for the night among the Big 4 in adults 18-49 with the #1 show of the night on those nets, "American Ninja Warrior." Note that NBC's Detroit affiliate carried a high-rated fireworks special.
· "American Ninja Warrior" (1.8/6 in adults 18-49, 5.5 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is currently up +13% week to week in adults 18-49 (to a 1.8 rating from 1.6) and up +17% in total viewers (5.5 million vs. 4.7 million), pending updates. The 1.8 is "Ninja's" highest 18-49 rating since June 2 and the 5.453 million in total viewers is a season high for a regular "Ninja" and best since a special "USA vs. Japan" telecast on Jan. 13 (5.537 million).
· In its second hour from 10-11, "Ninja" currently ranks #1 among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key measures ahead of CBS's "Under the Dome" recap and ABC's "Mistresses" original.
· The 1.8 rating for "American Ninja Warrior" in 18-49 is currently the #1 rating of the night among Big 4 primetime telecasts, pending updates, on a night that includes Fox's "MasterChef" (1.7/6 from 8-9 p.m.) and "24: Live Another Day" (1.4/4 from 9-10) and ABC's "Bachelorette" (1.5/5 from 8-10:01) and "Mistresses" (1.0/3 from 10:01-11).
· An encore telecast of "Last Comic Standing" (1.0 rating, 4 share in adults 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is up +11% versus last week in both 18-49 (1.0 vs. 0.9) and total viewers (3.5 million vs. 3.2 million).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.2/5 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.9/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore) trailed CBS's first-run "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
