DIY NETWORK WINS MORE VIEWERS FOR SECOND CONSECUTIVE QUARTER
New York [For Immediate Release - July 8, 2014] Just three months after reporting its most watched quarter ever in primetime and on weekends, DIY Network delivered quarterly audience numbers that again beat its previous performance records. The network had its best weekend ever (Saturday and Sunday 7A-8P) in second quarter, averaging 109,000 P25-54 impressions, 49,000 M25-54 impressions, and 60,000 W25-54 impressions. In fact, all three demos grew by at least 7 percent versus second quarter 2013.
In addition, the network averaged 83,000 P25-54 primetime impressions in second quarter -- an 8 percent increase in primetime viewership among P25-54. An increase in male viewers helped DIY Network achieve its record breaking quarter. In fact, it was the most watched quarter ever among men, averaging 42,000 M25-54 primetime impressions -- an 8 percent increase over second quarter 2013.
The top five programs that propelled DIY Network's second quarter success among the P25-54 demo were Holmes Inspection with 113,000 impressions, Decked Out with 103,000 impressions, Vanilla Ice Project with 100,000 impressions and Renovation Realities with 97,000 impressions and Rehab Addict with 91,000 impressions.
