Live 2014 Tour de France Viewership Up 13% From Last Year through First Half of Competition
Live Coverage of Stage 11 Tomorrow at 8 AM ET on NBCSN
STAMFORD, Conn. - July 15, 2014 - Midway through the 2014 Tour de France, NBCSN's nightly Tour Primetime show is averaging 243,000 viewers -- its best start since Lance Armstrong's comeback in 2009 and up 40% from 2013 (174,000). NBCSN's live Tour de France coverage is averaging 284,000 viewers -- up 13% from last year at this point (251,000).
Tour de France coverage continues tonight at 8 p.m. ET with a Tour Primetime rest-day special featuring highlights and analysis from the first 10 stages of the race. Live coverage continues tomorrow at 8 a.m. ET with the middle stage of the tour, Stage 11, from Besancon to Oyonnax on NBCSN.
