Tuesday Results:
NBC won Tuesday night in 18-49 and total viewers among the Big 4:
· With the #1 and #2 shows of the night in 18-49, "America's Got Talent" and "Food Fighters."
· Leading six of six half-hours among the Big 4 in 18-49 (including a tie from 8-8:30).
· Leading the night among those nets in every key measure.
· Doubling the nearest competitor in 18-49 (with a 2.0 for the night vs. a 1.0 for ABC)
· "Food Fighters" (1.3/5 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew +30% versus last week's premiere in 18-49 (to a 1.3 from a 1.0), which is the highest percentage increase from first to second telecast among all original series on the Big 4 so far this summer in 18-49. "Food Fighters" beat the 1.2 of the second episode of "Rising Star" for the top week-two result among the five new reality shows on the Big 4 so far this summer that have run at least two weeks.
· "Food Fighters" won the time period among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, as well as men and women 18-49 and adults, men and women 18-34, and grew from its first half-hour to its second in every key category, including a gain of +27% in adults 18-49 (to a 1.4 from a 1.1).
· "Food Fighters" is the #2 show of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49 behind only "America's Got Talent."
· "America's Got Talent" (2.4/8 in 18-49, 10.5 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is the #1 show of the night in every key measure -- adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers -- on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. "Talent" equaled last week's rating and was up versus two weeks ago by +20% (2.4 vs. 2.0 from 8-10 p.m. on July 15) and is up week to week in total viewers (10.519 million vs. 10.426 million) for a second week in a row.
· "America's Got Talent" won the slot among the Big 4 in every key measure, delivering a +140% margin of victory versus the #2 network among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox (with a 2.4 rating vs. a 1.0 for ABC). In total viewers, "Talent" nearly doubled the #2 network (10.519 million vs. 5.440 million for CBS).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.8/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.7/4; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.7/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.3/1; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
