Wednesday Primetime Results:
NBC tied for #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and won the night outright among those nets in total viewers.
· "Taxi Brooklyn" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.6 million viewers overall from 10:01-11 p.m. ET) tied CBS's "Extant" for the slot win among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49 and led the hour among those nets in adults, men and women 18-34.
· "Taxi Brooklyn" set series records in 18-49 and total viewers in its sixth week on the schedule. "Taxi Brooklyn" grew for a second week in a row in 18-49 and for a third week in a row in total viewers. Versus one week ago, "Taxi Brooklyn" was up +10% in 18-49 rating (to a 1.1 from a 1.0) and up +6% in total viewers (5.602 million vs. 5.298 million). Versus two weeks ago, the show grew by +38% in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 0.8) and by +19% in total viewers (5.602 million vs. 4.725 million). Versus three weeks ago, last night's telecast was up by +21% in total viewers (5.602 million vs. 4.618 million)
· "America's Got Talent" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 10.6 million viewers overall from 9-10:01 p.m. ET) dominated the time period among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox, doubling its closest Big 4 rival in the time period in 18-49 (with a 2.2 rating vs. a 1.1 for CBS's "Criminal Minds" encore and Fox's "So You Think You Can Dance" original). "Talent" won the slot in every key measure among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox. "Talent" built on its lead-in from an 8 p.m. encore by +83% in 18-49 and +69% in total viewers.
· The 9 p.m. original of "America's Got Talent" tied for the #1 rating of the night on the Big 4 (2.2 each for "Talent" and CBS's 8-9 p.m. telecast of "Big Brother") and was the #1 show on those nets outright in total viewers, adults 25-54 and other key measures.
· An encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.2/5 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) ranked #2 in the time slot among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers and other key categories. The 8 p.m. "Talent" rebroadcast finished within 3% of CBS's original "Big Brother" in total viewers (6.3 million vs. 6.5 million).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.6/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "Late Show," 0.3/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
