ANIMAL PLANET'S "TREEHOUSE MASTERS" IS TOP OF THE CHARTS

(August 20, 2014- Silver Spring, Md.) - Animal Planet's hit series, TREEHOUSE MASTERS, delivered a chart-topping performance for its season finale, "Country Superstar Speakeasy," which premiered Friday, August 15, at 10 PM ET/PT. The episode drew in 1.5 million P2+ viewers on a Live +3 basis. The finale helped Animal Planet rank #3 across all ad-supported cable networks in its Friday, 10 PM time slot with P25-54.
This season of TREEHOUSE MASTERS delivered 1.3M P2+ viewers across its premieres on a Live +3 basis.
In "Country Superstar Speakeasy," Pete Nelson builds a treehouse for Brian Kelley, of the superstar duo Florida Georgia Line, and his wife. Located at their house in Nashville, the two-story treehouse features a recording studio where Brian can pen his next hit.
TREEHOUSE MASTERS, which captures the creations of renowned treehouse builder Pete Nelson, is Animal Planet's second-most-watched series year to date among P2+ viewers, HH, P18-49, P25-54 and P18-34.
TREEHOUSE MASTERS has viewers climbing to a majestic world up in the treetops with visionary and tree whisperer Pete Nelson as he designs private escapes for those with a passion to reconnect with nature and awaken their inner child. Pete goes out on a limb to create breathtaking realities for a host of clientele including designing multi-bedroom dream tree houses complete with functional plumbing and electricity to simple one-room lofts. He and his team of designers and carpenters must endure Mother Nature's shifty antics, dangerous construction equipment and dizzy heights in order to build these sanctuaries.
