ABC is #1 for 3rd Straight Friday - Cristela Builds on Last Man Standing as Season's #2 Most-Watched Comedy Debut

Updated to include L3 and L7 projections and corrected Cristela rating, which built by 8% in Adults 18-49 out of Last Man Standing:

ABC Friday Prime (8-11pm - 6.3 million and 1.5/5 in AD18-49): ABC won its 3rd straight Friday this season in Adults 18-49, leading runner-up CBS by 25% (1.5/2 vs. 1.2/4). Also for the 3rd week running, ABC's Shark Tank was Friday's #1 TV show in the key young adult sales demo. 20/20 continued to rank as the night's #1 newsmagazine, beating NBC's Dateline (9-11pm) by 20% in Adults 18-49 and by 13% in Adults 25-54.

Last Man Standing (8-8:30pm - 6.6 million and 1.2/5 in AD18-49)

At 8pm, Last Man Standing ranked #1 in Adults 18-49 and held steady with its week ago premiere Fast Affiliate rating (1.2/5).

Christela (8:30-9pm - 6.6 million and 1.3/5 in AD18-49) On

its series debut at 8:30pm, Cristela opened at #1 in its half-hour among the major nets and became the first comedy telecast in nearly 2 years to build on an original LMS in Adults 18-49 (+8% - 1.3/5 vs. 1.2/5) - since 11/9/12. In Adults 18-49, Cristela opened higher than Fox's Family Guy-led debut of Mulaney (1.0/3 on 10/5) and NBC's Thursday debut of A to Z (1.2/3 on 10/2), while tying Bad Judge (1.3/3 on 10/2). In fact at 6.6 million viewers, it was TV's #2 most-watched comedy debut this season overall, behind only ABC's black-ish.

Shark Tank (8-10pm - 7.3 million and 1.9/6 in AD18-49)

From 9-10pm, ABC's Shark Tank shot to the top of its time period in Adults 18-49, leading by 46% over its nearest competition (CBS' Hawaii Five-0 = 1.3/4). The show was up from its week-ago Fast Affiliate Adult 18-49 numbers of 7.1 million and a 1.8 rating. Shark Tank was also up over its year-ago telecast (6.5 million and 1.7/6 on 10/11/13) in Total Viewers (+12%) and Adults 18-49 (+12%).

20/20 (10-11pm - 5.1 million and 1.2/4 in AD18-49) ABC's 20/20 ranked #1 the 10 o'clock hour for the 3rd straight week this season among Adults 18-49 (1.2/4-tie).

LMS: Live + 3 = 8.8 million/1.5 rating and Live + 7 = 9.3 million/1.6 rating
