"THE TONIGHT SHOW" DEFEATS ABC, CBS LATE-NIGHT COMPETITION IN 18-49, TOTAL VIEWERS FOR WEEK OF OCT. 13-17

Fallon, Meyers and Daly All See Week-to-Week Increases in Key Demo

NEW YORK - Oct. 23, 2014 - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" has won the late-night ratings week of Oct. 13-17 with wins on all five nights versus the time period's ABC and CBS competition in both adults 18-49 and total viewers.

Fallon's 1.06 rating for the week dominated the timeslot competition, generating an +86% advantage over ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.57) and a +100% margin over CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" (0.53). In total viewers, Fallon's average 3.577 million persons gives him advantages of +35% over "Late Show" (2.656 million) and +44% over "Kimmel" (2.482 million).

At 12:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" outdelivered CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" by a margin of +42% in adults 18-49, with a 0.51 rating versus Ferguson's 0.36. Meyers also prevailed versus ABC's "Nightline" in their head-to-head half-hour from 12:30-1 a.m. in every key demographic - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54.
