Sunday Results:
Regarding this morning's Nielsens, note that the fast-national ratings that came in at 11 a.m. ET/8 a.m. PT are not time zone-adjusted and typically understate live NFL telecasts. Despite that, NBC is currently #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in all key measures - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers.
· In metered-market results, which accurately reflect time-zone adjustments, last night's New England Patriots-Indianapolis Colts "Sunday Night Football" telecast averaged an 13.6 rating, 21 share from 8:30-11:15 p.m. ET in household results from the 56 markets metered by Nielsen Media Research. With the Patriots taking the game 42-20, NBC won primetime decisively in metered-market households.
· The 40.2/57 result in Boston is the second-biggest "Sunday Night Football" overnight ever in that market, behind only the Packers-Patriots matchup on Dec. 19, 2010 (42.6/62).
· Top local ratings for the Patriots-Colts game on NBC were: Boston, 40.2/57; Indianapolis, 37.1/54; Providence, 32.0/44; Las Vegas, 19.2/29; San Diego, 17.1/30; Baltimore, 16.7/24; New Orleans, 16.4/23; West Palm Beach, 15.8/25; Sacramento, 15.7/24; and Norfolk, 15.7/23.
L+3 Results for Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014:
· The crossover episode of "Chicago Fire" grew by series-high +1.13 rating points in 18-49 (from a 2.23 to a 3.36 at 10 p.m. ET) and a series-record 3.4 million viewers overall (9.1 million vs. 12.5 million) going from "live plus same day" to "live plus three day results." The Nov. 11 "Chicago Fire" was the first episode of a three-way crossover with Wednesday's "Law &Order: SVU" and Chicago P.D."
· "Chicago P.D." is the #2 telecast of the night on the Big 4 in L+3 18-49 results, behind only NBC's "The Voice" and ahead of CBS's "NCIS" (3.31 in L+3), which had been the #2 show on those networks in L+SD figures.
· "The Voice" grew by +20% in 18-49 (from a 3.01 to a 3.61 from 8-10 p.m.) and 1.4 million viewers overall (11.4 million to 12.8 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
