"The Tonight Show," "Late Night" Dominate ABC, CBS Timeslot Competition for Week of Nov. 17-21
NBC spins the late-night numbers for the week of November 17-21.

Fallon Outrates Both Kimmel and Letterman in 18-49 and All Key Ratings Categories

NEW YORK - Dec. 1, 2014 - "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" was the #1 late-night show for the week of Nov. 17-21, outrating "Jimmy Kimmel Live" and "Late Show with David Letterman" in the 18-49 demo and all key categories.

"The Tonight Show" drew a 1.04 rating in the 18-49 demo for the week, slightly above its 1.03 season-to-date originals average. That was better than Kimmel's 0.74 and more than doubled Letterman's 0.50. In total viewers, "The Tonight Show" drew 3.624 million viewers while Kimmel had 2.934 million and Letterman 2.716 million.

"Late Night with Seth Meyers" averaged a season-high 0.54 in the 18-49 demo for the week, including a Friday repeat (0.50), up from the show's 0.50 season average for weeks of mostly originals. Despite airing an hour later, "Late Night" topped Letterman by +0.04 for the week.

"Last Call with Carson Daly" drew a 0.37 18-49 rating for the week, the show's best result since the week of 3/17/14 (also a 0.37), and topped CBS's Ferguson (0.32) despite starting an hour later.

Note that Kimmel, Meyers and Daly aired encores on Friday night.
