"60 Minutes" Is the #1 Non-Sports Broadcast of the Week in Viewers, Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54
CBS's Annual Holiday Favorites Win Their Time Periods with Children
CBS's Thanksgiving week included the top five dramas, top five comedies, top four new shows and the #1 non-sports program of the week, according to Nielsen live plus same day ratings for the atypical holiday week ending Nov. 30.
60 MINUTES delivered 18.4 million viewers, its most-watched broadcast since December 2012 and ranking as the #1 non-sports program of the week, watched by more viewers than any other show on primetime television except the NFL. It also was the #1 non-sports broadcast in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
CBS had the week's top five most-watched broadcast dramas with NCIS, NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, MADAM SECRETARY, CRIMINAL MINDS (S) and the season premiere of THE MENTALIST.
Among comedies, CBS also had the week's top five with THE BIG BANG THEORY (S), MOM (S), TWO AND A HALF MEN (S), 2 BROKE GIRLS and Monday's rebroadcast of THE BIG BANG THEORY.
NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, MADAM SECRETARY, SCORPION and STALKER (S) were the top four new series of the week.
CBS annual holiday favorites FROSTY THE SNOWMAN, YES, VIRGINIA, THE FLIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS and THE STORY OF SANTA CLAUS all won their respective time periods with children 2-11 and children 6-11.
