Thursday Primetime Results:
· "The Biggest Loser" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.5 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) finished #2 in the time period in adults 18-49, total viewers and most other key measures among the Big 4 and ranked #1 among those networks in adults 18-34 and women 18-34.
· "The Biggest Loser" equaled its prior 18-49 rating (0.9 on Dec. 18), despite the New Year's holiday and the previous week's preemption.
· L+7: This season, "The Biggest Loser" is increasing by an average +36% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.28 to a 1.74) and more than 1.0 million viewers overall (4.6 million to 5.7 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· "Bad Judge" averaged a 0.5/1 in 18-49 and 2.1 million viewers overall from 9-9:30 p.m. ET. L+7: Season to date, "Bad Judge" is growing by an average +41% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.05 to a 1.48) and 1.2 million viewers overall (4.3 million to 5.5 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· "A-to-Z" averaged a 0.4/1 in 18-49 and 1.3 million viewers overall from 9:30-10 p.m. ET. L+7: So far this season, "A-to-Z" is increasing by an average +35% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.86 to a 1.16) and 678,000 million viewers overall (3.1 million to 3.7 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· An encore telecast of "Parenthood" (0.4/1 in 18-49, 1.4 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) finished in a three-way tie for #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in women 18-34 (0.3 rating each).
· Upscale: "Parenthood" is the #1 most upscale primetime series on the Big 4 networks in, indexing at a 166 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current" L+3 results through the opening six weeks of the season, 100 represents an average concentration of those homes).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.7/4 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.6/3 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.4/3 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.6/2 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.2/1 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/1 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (0.8/2 in metered-market households with an encore) trailed CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (0.9/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.3/1 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.5/2 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.1/1 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
