Friday Primetime Results:
· With its first original telecast in five weeks, "Grimm" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) retained 92% of the 1.3 rating for its prior telecast in adults 18-49. That previous 1.3 on Dec. 12 matched "Grimm's" highest rating since the show opened its season with a 1.4 on Oct. 24. In the time period, "Grimm" tied for #2 among the Big 4 nets in women 18-34 (0.9).
· "Grimm" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, growing so far this season by an average of +83% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.26 to a 2.30) and more than 2.7 million viewers overall (5.0 million to 7.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· With its first telecast in five weeks and in a new earlier time period, "Constantine" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) retained 93% of the overall viewership of its prior telecast on Dec. 12 (3.304 million).
· "Constantine" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, having increased so far this season by an average of +79% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.98 to a 1.75) and more than 1.8 million viewers overall (3.4 million to 5.3 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· "Dateline NBC" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) maintained its rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49 (1.0 vs. 1.0) and adults 25-54 (1.4 vs. 1.4) and grew by +11% in women 25-54 (1.8 to 2.0), despite the 10 p.m. hour. "Dateline" finished within 0.1 of last week's 1.1 rating in 18-49 from 9-10 p.m.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.1/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.8/4 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.2/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/2 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "The Talk After Dark" (1.1/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped " The Talk After Dark" (0.2/1).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
