"Parks and Recreation" Is Currently Reporting Its Biggest Overall Audience Since January 24, 2013
NBC spins the numbers for Tuesday, January 20.

Tuesday Results:

· "Parks and Recreation" (1.4/4 in 18-49, 3.855 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) is currently reporting the show's biggest overall audience since Jan. 24, 2013 (3.941 million), pending updates, and is up +10% versus last week's season-premiere 8-9 p.m. average (3.855 million vs. 3.503 million).

· In adults 18-49, "Parks and Recreation" is currently running within a 0.1 of last week's season-premiere 1.5 rating, which matched the show's highest since May 2, 2013. Last night's telecast is up +40% versus what "Parks" was averaging at the end of last season in adults 18-49 (1.0 with its final four episodes on Thursday nights last April) and is up +17% versus the show's second week last season in adults 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.2 from 8-8:31 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 3,2013). In total viewers, last night's "Parks" is up +48% versus the last four episodes of last season (3.855 million vs. 2.608 million) and up +23% versus week two last season (3.855 million vs. 3.142 million).

· In the time period, "Parks and Recreation" ranks #1 among the Big 4 in adults 18-34 (1.4) and women 18-34 (1.7).

· UPSCALE: Last season, "Parks" was the #3 most upscale primetime series on the Big 4 in its concentration of adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (161 index).

· TIME-SHIFTING: Last season, "Parks" originals grew by +50% from the show's L+SD result to L+7 in 18-49 rating (to a 1.73 from a 1.15).

· NBC's coverage of the State of the Union Address aired from approximately 9-10 p.m. ET, followed by the Republican response and segments of analysis that extended to 11 p.m. Coverage of the address and response was sustaining and will not be included in nightly or weekly averages. Fast-affiliate ratings are not reliable for last night's live news coverage.

· Nightlong averages in currently available fast-affiliate ratings are subject to significant revision due to live news coverage, but they currently show NBC tied for #1 for the night among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and other key demographics.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.4/6; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "Late Show," 0.4/3 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped " Late Late Show " (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
