"Chicago P.D." Matches Its Highest Rating and Delivers Its Biggest Overall Audience Since November 12
NBC spins the numbers for Wednesday, February 4.

Wednesday Primetime Results:

· "Chicago P.D." (1.6/5 in 18-49, 7.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) matched its highest rating and delivered its biggest overall audience since Nov. 12 (2.2/7 in 18-49, 9.5 million viewers overall with the conclusion of a three-way crossover with "SVU" and "Chicago Fire"). Last night's "Chicago P.D." concluded a crossover storyline with this week's "Chicago Fire."

· Despite airing an encore last week, "Chicago P.D." grew +7% or 0.1 of a point versus its prior first-run episode (1.5 on Jan. 21).

· In the time period, last night's "Chicago P.D." ranked #1 or tied for #1 in the slot among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas in every key measure - adults, men and women 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, plus total viewers. "Chicago P.D." has now finished #1 or tied for #1 among the ABC-CBS-NBC dramas in adults 18-49 with six of its last seven originals.

· "Chicago P.D." built on its adult 18-49 lead-in from an original "SVU" for the fourth time in its last five opportunities, growing by a best-yet +23%.

· "Law & Order: SVU" (1.3/4 in 18-49, 6.2 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) matched its prior first-run episode in adults 18-49(1.3 on Jan. 21) and built by +30% on last night's 18-49 lead-in.

· "SVU" will grow substantially in L+7 -- "SVU" originals this season are increasing by +67% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.75 a 2.92) and more than 2.9 million viewers overall (7.8 million to 10.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.

· "The Mysteries of Laura" (1.0/3 in 18-49, 6.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET), with its first original telecast in three weeks, equaled its prior first-run episode in 18-49 rating (1.0 on Jan. 14) and grew by +3% versus its prior original in total viewers (6.298 million vs. 6.130 million).

In Late-Night Metered-Market Results for Monday through Wednesday:

· Three nights into its week of special telecasts from Los Angeles, "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon" is running up +27% versus its quarter-to-date average for Monday-through-Wednesday telecasts in metered-market households and up +40% in adults 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· Through the week's first three nights, "The Tonight Show" from L.A. is averaging a 3.3 rating, 9 share in metered-market households, up from a 2.6 average for Monday-through-Wednesday results thus far in the year's first quarter. In 18-49 in the Local People Meters, "Tonight" is averaging a 1.4 rating, up from a quarter-to-date average of a 1.0.

· In metered-market households, "Tonight" is matching its top-rated week in nearly a year, since the week of March 10, Fallon's fourth week hosting show (3.5 from Monday through Wednesday, this week's 3.3 was matched during the weeks of Sept. 15 and March 17). In the LPMs, "Tonight" is delivering its top Monday-to-Wednesday average since that week of March 10.

· According to "live plus same day" results from Nielsen Media Research, last night's " Tonight" delivered the show's highest adults 18-49 rating for a Wednesday telecast (1.5/7) in Nielsen's 25 markets with Local People Meters since Feb. 26, 2014 (1.7/8) during Fallon's second week as host. It's also the third-highest Wednesday in the LPMs ever for a Fallon-hosted "Tonight."

· In household rating in Nielsen's 56 metered markets, it was "Tonight's" best Wednesday in four months, since Sept. 17, 2014 (3.4/9, with an edition that featured a Lip Sync Battle with Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton on the night of the "America's Got Talent" finale and "Mysteries of Laura" preview). Last night's telecast is tied for the third-highest rating yet for a Wednesday Fallon-hosted "Tonight" in metered-market households.

· Wednesday's show featured Vin Diesel, Carl Reiner, Kobe Bryant and musical guests Iggy Azalea and Jennifer Hudson.

· On Tuesday of this week, "Tonight" delivered its highest metered-market household result for a Tuesday telecast (3.6/9) since Feb. 25, 2014, during Fallon's second week as host), while tying its top Tuesday in the LPMs since that same date.

· On Feb. 2, "Tonight" matched its highest Monday rating in metered-market households (3.1) in four months (since Sept. 29, 2014) and equaled "Tonight's" highest 18-49 rating in the LPMs (1.3) for a Monday telecast in 10 months (since March 24, 2014).

In Late-Night Metered Markets Wednesday Night:

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.3/9; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.1/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.5/7; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/5 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
