Tuesday's Broadcast Ratings: CBS Claims Top Spot in Viewers, Demos

Here are the highlights of the 17 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (2/10/15):

CBS (14.609 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.2, #1) was the top draw on Tuesday thanks to its trio of "NCIS" (18.559 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.8, #1), "NCIS: New Orleans" (15.861 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.2, #2) and "Person of Interest" (9.408 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.5, #5).

ABC (4.884 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.4, #2) then claimed the silver with the time period premiere of "Fresh Off the Boat" (6.000 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.7, #4), another "Fresh Off the Boat" (5.812 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.8, #3), "Marvel's Agent Carter" (4.177 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T6) and "Forever" (4.568 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #11).

Next up was FOX (3.527 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #3) and fresh installments of "MasterChef Junior" (4.516 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T6), "New Girl" (2.733 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.3, #10) and "The Mindy Project" (2.343 million viewers, #15; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T12).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.790 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4) served up new episodes of "Parks & Recreation" (3.031 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T12), another "Parks & Recreation" (2.446 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T12), "Marry Me" (2.148 million viewers, #16; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T15), "About a Boy" (2.675 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T15) and "Chicago Fire" (6.219 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T6).

And finally, originals from "The Flash" (3.479 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T6) and "Supernatural" (2.041 million viewers, #17; adults 18-49: 0.8, #T15) closed out the evening on The CW (2.760 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T4). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "The Flash" posted a 0.9 rating while "Supernatural" delivered a 0.7 rating.

· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/8; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.3/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.2/6; "Late Show," 0.5/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (2/11/14):

NBC (23.684 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.6, #1) was not surprisingly the network to beat on Tuesday with its coverage of the "2014 Olympic Winter Games" (23.684 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 6.6, #1).

FOX (2.765 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) then was king of the leftovers with a new "Dads" (2.705 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) followed by the season finale of "Dads" (2.534 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T8), a new "New Girl" (2.953 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2) and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" (2.870 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4).

Next up was CBS (7.760 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) with its all-repeat lineup of "NCIS" (9.648 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T2), "NCIS: Los Angeles" (7.859 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T4) and "Person of Interest" (5.772 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10).

Meanwhile, ABC (3.070 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) served up repeats of "The Goldbergs" (4.059 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.1, #7), another "The Goldbergs" (3.420 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T8), yet another "The Goldbergs" (2.897 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T10), "Trophy Wife" (2.026 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12) and a new "Killer Women" (3.008 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.7, #T12).

And finally, a second run of the feature "Attack the Block" (0.798 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.2, #14) on The CW (0.798 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.2, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the film posted a 0.1 rating.
