Friday Primetime Results:
· "Constantine" (0.8/3 in 18-49, 3.1 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) grew +6% week to week in total viewers (3.131 million vs. 2.958 million), pending updates, and maintained 100% of its 18-49 rating from the show's prior two telecasts (0.8 on Feb. 6 and Jan. 30).
· "Constantine" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, last week having increased by +59% in 18-49 rating (from a 0.81 to a 1.29) and 1.1 million viewers overall (3.0 million to 4.1 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
· "Grimm" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 4.7 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET) increased week to week in total viewers (4.713 million vs. 4.674 million) , pending updates. From half-hour to half-hour, "Grimm" maintained its rating in adults 18-49 (1.1 vs. 1.1) and adults 25-54 (1.6 vs. 1.6) and grew +7% in men 25-54 (1.4 to 1.5) and +6% in women 25-54 (1.7 to 1.8).
· "Grimm" will add substantial audience via time-shifting, last week increasing by +86% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.16 to a 2.16) and 2.7 million viewers overall (4.7 million to 7.4 million) going from L+SD to L+3. That 18-49 gain of 1.00 of a rating point in L+3 was the show's biggest of the season.
· "Dateline NBC" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.5 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) grew week to week in total viewers (4.536 million vs. 4.527 million) , pending updates.
· Last night's "Dateline" maintained its rating from half-hour to half-hour in adults 18-49, despite the 10 p.m. hour, and grew by +15% in adults 25-54 (1.3 to 1.5) and +13% in women 25-54 (1.6 to 1.8). In the 10:30 lead-in to local news, pulled within 0.1 of a point of "20/20" in the key news demo of adults 25-54 (1.5 vs. 1.6), nearly eliminating a "20/20" lead of 0.6 the prior half-hour (1.3 vs. 1.9). In women 25-54, "Dateline" tied "20/20" from 10:30-11 (1.8 each) to erase a 0.6 deficit the prior half-hour (1.6 vs. 2.2).
· L+3: The prior week's "Dateline" on Jan. 23 grew by +42% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.06 to a 1.50) and 1.2 million viewers overall (4.5 million to 5.7 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 3.0/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.2/5; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.1/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.7/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.5/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.1/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
