HGTV DELIVERS RECORD-BREAKING RATINGS IN FIRST QUARTER 2015
New York [For Immediate Release - March 31, 2015] HGTV, which continues to attract one of the most upscale audiences in cable, just ended its highest-rated quarter in network history, averaging a .58 prime rating and reaching more than 22 million viewers in primetime each week. In fact, HGTV's primetime ratings among viewers P25-54 grew 14% over last year - the highest ratings growth among Top 20 cable networks in the first quarter of 2015. In addition, HGTV was ranked #2 among viewers W25-54 versus all other ad-supported cable networks in the quarter. On weekends, it also was HGTV's highest-rated and most-watched quarter ever on Weekends [Saturdays and Sundays 7a-8p] among viewers P25-54, garnering an average rating of 0.53.
Five of HGTV's hit series - Rehab Addict, Fixer Upper, House Hunters Renovation, Property Brothers and Caribbean Life - are on pace to deliver their highest-rated seasons ever. In first quarter, Ellen's Design Challenge, Fixer Upper and Property Brothers drove the network to record viewing levels.
