NBC RATINGS NOTES FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 30
· Among the Big 4 networks, NBC was #3 in the 18-49 demo with a 0.9/3 and 4.895 million viewers overall.
· From 8-9 p.m., an encore of "The Blacklist" scored a 0.5/2 and 3.165 million viewers overall.
· From 9-10 p.m. and against the second hour of a special two-hour "Grey's Anatomy," "The Blacklist" scored a 1.2/4 and 6.436 million viewers overall.
· Last week "The Blacklist" rose .1 from the fast affiliate ratings to the official national ratings.
· "The Blacklist" will add substantial viewership via time-shifting: This season originals of "The Blacklist" are increasing by +70% in 18-49 rating (from a 2.56 to a 4.36) and 5.8 million viewers overall (10.0 million to 15.8 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
· "Blacklist" has improved the Thursday 9 p.m. hour by +171% in 18-49 (3.41 vs. a prior average of 1.26, "most current" excluding sports) and by 9.2 million viewers overall (13.5 million vs. 4.3 million).
· NBC's Thursday overall has improved by +17% since the "Blacklist" move in 18-49 (1.97 vs. 1.68, "most current" non-sports) and 2.9 million viewers overall (8.3 million vs. 5.4 million).
· From 10-11 p.m., "Dateline" drew a 0.9/3 and 5.084 million viewers overall.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman," 2.6/7; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/5; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
