Friday Primetime Results:
NBC tied for #1 for the night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54.
· "Dateline NBC" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.3 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET) won the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults, men and women 18-49 and adults, men (tie) and women 25-54.
· "Dateline's 1.6 rating in adults 25-54 tied it as the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks and its 1.1 in adults 18-49 ranked #2 for the night on those nets.
· "Dateline NBC" equaled its highest rating in seven weeks in adults 18-49 and adults 25-54 (since April 10, 1.3 in 18-49, 1.7 in 25-54).
· Despite the 10 p.m. hour, "Dateline NBC" held steady or grew half-hour to half-hour in all key measures, including a gain of +13% in adults 25-54 (1.5. to 1.7)
· From 8-10 p.m., an encore telecast of "America's Got Talent" (1.0/4 in 18-49, 4.6 million viewers overall) tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49. From its first half-hour to its fourth, the "Talent" encore grew by +38% in adults 18-49 (0.8 to 1.1) and by +19% in total viewers (4.0 million to 4.8 million).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Friday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.5/6 with an encore telecast; CBS's "Mentalist" rebroadcast, 1.8/4; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4 with an encore; "The Mentalist" rebroadcast, 0.3/1; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/2 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
