Wednesday's Broadcast Ratings: FOX Tops Demos as "MasterChef" Rises

Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (6/10/15):

FOX (3.932 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #1) was the demo champ on Wednesday thanks to new episodes of "MasterChef" (4.626 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) and "Bullseye" (3.237 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6).

ABC (4.047 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #2) then claimed the silver with repeats of "The Middle" (4.993 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3), "The Goldbergs" (4.400 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3), "Modern Family" (4.460 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.2, #2) and "Black-ish" (3.756 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3) plus a new "Celebrity Wife Swap" (3.337 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.1, #T3).

Next up was CBS (5.262 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 0.9, #3) with an original "The Briefcase" (4.743 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #10) followed by repeats of "Criminal Minds" (5.630 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6) and "CSI: Cyber" (5.414 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11).

Meanwhile, NBC (3.108 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.8, #4) served up encores of "I Can Do That!" (2.507 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.6, #12) and "American Ninja Warrior" (3.408 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T6).

And finally, repeats of "Arrow" (0.969 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) and "Supernatural" (0.779 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #T13) on The CW (0.874 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the former delivered a 0.3 rating while the latter posted a 0.2 rating.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.0/5; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.1/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.


Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks one year ago (6/11/14):

NBC (5.448 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1) was the most-watched network on Wednesday with its mix of "Growing Up Fisher" (4.135 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8), another "Growing Up Fisher" (3.622 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8) and the two-hour special "The People vs. O.J. Simpson: What the Jury Never Heard" (6.233 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1).

FOX (4.395 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T1) however shared in the top demo honors with a new "So You Think You Can Dance" (4.395 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2).

Next up was CBS (5.003 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) and its repeat lineup of "Undercover Boss" (3.973 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 0.8, #11), "Criminal Minds" (5.648 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) and "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (5.387 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T8).

Meanwhile, ABC (3.778 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 0.9, #T3) offered up repeats of "The Middle" (4.165 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), "The Goldbergs" (3.516 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4), "Modern Family" (3.886 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #3), another "The Goldbergs" (3.381 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 1.0, #T4) and a new "Motive" (3.861 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.7, #12).

And finally, a repeat "Arrow" (1.116 million viewers, #14; adults 18-49: 0.3, #14) and the season finale of "The 100" (1.653 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.5, #13) closed out the night on The CW (1.385 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.4, #5). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), "Arrow" delivered a 0.2 rating while "100" posted a 0.5 rating.

·From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.4/5 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1).

·At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly," averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
