'NINJA' ENCORE IS #1 IN PRIMETIME ON THE BIG 4 IN 18-49; NBC WINS THE NIGHT AMONG THOSE NETS
Saturday Primetime Results:
NBC won the night in adults 18-49 among the Big 4 networks with the #1 primetime show, a 9-11 p.m. rebroadcast of "American Ninja Warrior." NBC also ranked #1 or tied for #1 for the night among those nets in adults, men and women 18-34; men and women 18-49; and adults and men 25-54.
· A rebroadcast of "American Ninja Warrior" (0.7/3 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) is the #1 primetime show of the night on the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, as well as adults, men and women 18-34 and other key demos.
· In the time period, the "American Ninja Warrior" encore ranked #1 among the Big 4 in adults, men and women 18-49; adults, men and women 18-34; and adults and men 25-54.
· An encore telecast of "The Island" (0.3/1 in 18-49, 1.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) finished within 0.1 of the time-period lead among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and tied for #1 among those nets in adults 18-34, women 18-34 and women 18-49.
In Late-Night Metered-Market Household Averages for Saturday Night:
· An encore telecast of "Saturday Night Live," with host J.K. Simmons and musical guests D'Angelo and The Vanguard, averaged a 2.4 rating, 6 share in household results in Nielsen's 56 metered markets and a 0.9/5 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with Local People Meters, making it the #1 telecast of the night on the Big 4 networks in 18-49 in the Local People Meters, ahead of all primetime programs on those nets.
· Versus the same night last year, the "SNL" rebroadcast is up +4% in metered-market households (2.4 vs. 2.3) and even in 18-49 in the Local People Meters (0.9 vs. 0.9).
· Note that "SNL" adds significant viewership via time-shifting, with originals this season growing by an average of +44% going from "live plus same day ratings" to "live plus seven day" in adults 18-49 (from a 1.84 rating to a 2.65).
