SILVER SPRING, MD - JULY 22, 2015 - Two weeks into third quarter, TV One, the network dedicated to entertaining and informing a diverse audience of adult Black viewers, is continuing its Primetime momentum across all key demos. In particular, TV One is currently a Top 5 Ad Supported Cable Growth Network among W18-49. Driven by a 45% year-to-year increase in primetime original premiere programming, TV One's year-to-date viewing to its original offerings is up by +20% vs. a year ago (320K vs. 251K P2+).
TV One's 3Q15 Primetime gains versus a year ago include:
· W18-49: +54% (83K vs. 54K)
· W25-54: +47% (85K vs. 58K)
· P25-54: +42% (129K vs. 91K)
· P18-49: +40% (125K vs. 89K)
· HHLDS: +33% (185K vs. 139K)
Additionally, the network is currently ranked as the No. 6 Ad-Supported Cable Network this quarter in Primetime among Black Adults 25-54; moving up from the No. 12 position this time a year ago.
TV One's year-to-date original offerings include new episodes of Fatal Attraction, Hollywood Divas, Unsung Hollywood and original movies, such as White Water, To Hell and Back, Hear No Evil, and For the Love of Ruth. For the rest of third quarter, viewers can tune into the highly anticipated comedy series, Born Again Virgin (Aug. 5 at 10 p.m. ET); perennial favorites Unsung Hollywood (July 22 at 8 p.m. ET), Verses & Flow (July 30 at 10 p.m. ET), Unsung (Aug. 26 at 8 p.m. ET); and original movies Runaway Island, an American Black Film Festival screenplay competition winner (July 25 at 8 p.m. ET), and Girlfriends Getaway 2 (Aug. 29 at 8 p.m. ET).
