'FOOD FIGHTERS' MATCHES ITS SEASON HIGH IN 18-49 AND 'DATELINE MYSTERY' CAPTURES ITS TOP THURSDAY RATING TO DATE
'DATELINE MYSTERY' WINS THE 10-11 P.M. HOUR AMONG ABC, CBS AND NBC IN EVERY KEY MEASURE
'DATELINE MYSTERY' SCORES NBC'S BEST RATING IN THE THURSDAY 9-11 P.M. SLOT IN 10 WEEKS
Thursday Primetime Results:
· "Food Fighters" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.7 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET) matched its season high in adult 18-49 rating, delivering three-week highs in 18-49 and total viewers (best since July 16, 0.9 in 18-49, 3.891 million viewers overall).
· "Food Fighters" grew +13% week to week in adult 18-49 rating (0.9 vs. 0.8) and +3% in total viewers (3.712 million vs. 3.619 million), for the show's second straight week of growth in total viewers.
· In the time period, "Food Fighters" finished #2 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in adults 18-49 and most other key measures, while ranking #1 among those nets in men 18-34.
· Upscale: The prior week's "Food Fighters" was the top upscale Big 4 telecast of the night among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes (with a 120 index).
· "Dateline Thursday Night Mystery" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 5.0 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET) delivered its top rating among four telecasts since "Dateline Mystery" moved to Thursdays on July 16.
· "Dateline Mystery" scored NBC's highest 18-49 rating in the time period in 10 weeks (since May 28, 1.1).
· Week to week, "Dateline Mystery" grew +10% in 18-49 (1.1 vs. 1.0). This week's 1.1 rating is up +83% versus NBC's summer average in the time period prior to "Dateline Mystery" (1.1 vs. 0.6).
· For its second hour from 10-11 p.m. ET, ""Dateline Thursday Night Mystery"" won the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key measures. For its full 9-11 p.m. time period, "Dateline Mystery" ranks #2 among the Big 4 nets in every key category.
NBC ranked #2 for the night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49, total viewers and all other key measures.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.6/7; "CBS Summer Showcase," 1.4/3 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.3/3 with an encore.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.9/4; "CBS Summer Showcase," 0.3/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.3/2 with an encore.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.0/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/1 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show with James Corden" (0.8/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 with an encore in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
