The series premiere of ABC's The Muppets grew to a 3.8 rating among Adults 18-49 in the L+3 numbers, standing well above its Tuesday debut competition with a 41% advantage over Fox's Scream Queens (2.7 rating) and 31% over CBS' Limitless (2.9 rating). The new ABC comedy grew its Total Viewer tally to 11.1 million after 3 days of TV playback.
In L+3 Adult 18-49 ratings, The Muppets is TV's highest-rated comedy premiere in 1 year since black-ish (on 9/24/14) and ABC's strongest series debut since How to Get Away with Murder (on 9/25/14). The Muppets opened as the season's #2 new series among young adults - behind only Blindspot.
· The Muppets grew +0.9 rating points (+31%) and +2.1 million Total Viewers over its L+SD numbers (2.9 rating and 9.0 million).
The 2nd season premiere of ABC's Fresh Off the Boat soared to a 2.5 Adult 18-49 rating to deliver a new Tuesday L+3 ratings high for the series. Fresh Off the Boat grew to 7.3 million Total Viewers in L+3 (from 6.1 million).
· Fresh Off the Boat shot up +0.6 rating points after 3 days of TV playback (from a 1.9 in L+SD), matching its biggest-ever Tuesday lift.
