Monday's Broadcast Ratings: NBC Holds Onto Top Spot with "Voice," "Blindspot"

Here are the highlights of the 13 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (9/28/15):

NBC (10.914 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.0, #1) was still the network to beat on Monday with week two of "The Voice" (11.832 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.3, #2) and "Blindspot" (9.079 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 2.6, #3).

CBS (9.623 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #2) then claimed the silver with its mix of "The Big Bang Theory" (14.878 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 3.6, #1), "Life in Pieces" (8.929 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.0, #4), "Scorpion" (9.418 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.7, #6) and "NCIS: Los Angeles" (7.547 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.2, #9).

Next up was ABC (10.398 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.8, #3) with originals from "Dancing with the Stars" (11.717 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.9, #5) and "Castle" (7.761 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T7).

Meanwhile, FOX (3.625 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.3, #4) offered up its duo of "Gotham" (4.573 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 1.6, #T7) and "Minority Report" (2.678 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 0.9, #10).

And finally, new episodes of "Penn & Teller: Fool Us" (1.401 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11), "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" (1.252 million viewers, #12; adults 18-49: 0.4, #T11) and "Significant Mother" (0.772 million viewers, #13; adults 18-49: 0.2, #13) on The CW (1.207 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) closed out the evening. In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), said trio posted a 0.4, 0.4 and a 0.2 rating, respectively.

· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/6; "Late Show," 0.7/4; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.2/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) tied CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.2/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.3/3).

· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

Week two of the 2014-15 season kicked off with NBC (12.045 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.5, #1) still on top thanks to new episodes of "The Voice" (12.740 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 3.9, #2) and "The Blacklist" (10.655 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 2.8, #T5).

CBS (12.304 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 2.9, #2) then claimed the silver with a new "The Big Bang Theory" (16.177 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 4.7, #1) followed by a repeat "The Big Bang Theory" (12.317 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 3.1, #3), a new "Scorpion" (13.229 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 3.0, #4) and the return of "NCIS: Los Angeles" (9.435 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T8).

Next up was FOX (6.216 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 2.3, #3) with originals from "Gotham" (7.330 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 2.8, #T5) and "Sleepy Hollow" (5.102 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.7, #10).

Meanwhile, ABC (12.214 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 2.1, #4) served up a new "Dancing with the Stars" (12.690 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.9, #T8) and the season premiere of "Castle" (11.263 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 2.4, #7).

And finally, The CW (0.914 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 0.3, #5) offered up its annual presentation of "iHeartRadio Music Festival, Night 1" (0.914 million viewers, #11; adults 18-49: 0.3, #11). In the netlet's target demo (women 18-34), the special posted a 0.5 rating.
