Monday Primetime Results (Note that NBC carried NFL football in the Cleveland and Baltimore markets):
NBC ranks #1 for Monday night among the Big 4 networks in adults 18-49 and all other key measures, with "The Voice" and a special preview of "Superstore" leading six of six half-hours among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49.
It's the 18th Monday in a row that NBC has ranked #1 or tied for #1 among ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox in 18-49.
"The Voice" (2.9/9 in 18-49, 13.1 million viewers overall from 8-10 p.m. ET):
· Is currently up +12% versus last week in 18-49 (2.9 vs. 2.6), pending updates.
· Is currently up +27% in total viewers (13.089 million vs. 10.293 million) to a season high for a Monday telecast, pending updates.
· It's currently the most-watched Monday "Voice" since March 9 (14.0 million).
· Is currently up +12% versus the comparable telecast from the prior cycle (2.9 vs. 2.6 for the fourth Monday live telecast in the spring on April 27).
· Is the #1 program of the night on the Big 4 in adults 18-49 and all other key measures.
· Is currently winning the time period among the Big 4 in every key measure.
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last week's "Voice" increased by +21% in 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" to "live plus three day" Nielsens (from a 2.57 rating to a 3.13) and by 1.7 million viewers overall (from 10.3 million to 12.0 million).
· Upscale: Monday's "Voice" is delivering a solidly upscale audience, indexing at a 116 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes ("most current," including L+3, 100 represents an average concentration of those homes). This week's telecast was the night's most upscale show on the Big 4 (107 index, L+SD).
A special preview of "Superstore" (2.2/7 in 18-49, 8.0 million viewers overall from 10-10:30 p.m. ET):
· Generated significant sampling in its special post-"Voice" telecasts.
· Is currently winning the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key measures.
· Is currently winning the half-hour by a +69% margin among ABC, CBS and NBC in 18-49 (2.2 vs. 1.3 for ABC's #2"Great Holiday Baking Show"), pending updates.
· Is currently up +29% versus NBC's average in the time period last season (2.2 vs. 1.7, L+SD non-sports).
A second telecast of "Superstore" (1.9/6 in 18-49, 6.1 million viewers overall from 10:30-11 p.m. ET):
· Is currently retaining a solid 86% of its lead-in from the 10 p.m. "Superstore."
· Is currently winning the slot among those nets by a +73% margin in adults 18-49 (1.9 vs. 1.1 for ABC's #2 "Great Holiday Baking Show"), pending updates.
· Ranks #1 in the slot among the ABC , CBS and NBC in every key demographic.
· Is currently up +36% versus NBC's average in the time period last season (1.9 vs. 1.4, L+SD non-sports).
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.9/8; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 1.8/5 with an encore; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 2.0/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 1.1/6; "Late Show," 0.4/2 with an encore; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.4/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.3/4 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (0.9/3). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/4 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.8/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.3/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
