Here are the highlights of the 14 ad-sustained programs that aired in primetime on the broadcast networks last night (1/8/16):
FOX (4.504 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.4, #1) was the demo champ on Friday with a new "MasterChef Junior" (4.715 million viewers, #8; adults 18-49: 1.5, #1) followed by a second "MasterChef Junior" (4.294 million viewers, #10; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T2).
CBS (8.994 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.3, #2) then was a close second with its trio of "Undercover Boss" (6.987 million viewers, #4; adults 18-49: 1.2, #T7), "Hawaii Five-0" (9.250 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T4) and "Blue Bloods" (10.746 million viewers, #1; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T2).
Next up was ABC (5.564 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.1, #3) with originals from "Last Man Standing" (7.321 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T4), "Dr. Ken" (5.451 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.1, #9), "Shark Tank" (5.756 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.3, #T4) and "20/20" (4.550 million viewers, #9; adults 18-49: 0.9, #10).

· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.5/5 in metered-market households with an encore) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.6/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.9/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.4/3 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.

ABC (7.141 million viewers, #2; adults 18-49: 1.6, #1) pulled back in front on Friday with the return of new episodes from "Last Man Standing" (8.590 million viewers, #3; adults 18-49: 1.6, #2), "Cristela" (6.682 million viewers, #6; adults 18-49: 1.3, #7), "Shark Tank" (7.699 million viewers, #5; adults 18-49: 1.9, #1) and "20/20" (6.086 million viewers, #7; adults 18-49: 1.4, #T5).
