"SHADES OF BLUE" CAPTURES NBC'S THIRD-BIGGEST L+7 VIEWER INCREASE EVER FOR A SERIES PREMIERE
GROWS BY NEARLY 5 MILLION VIEWERS IN L+7, THE #2 BIGGEST LIFT THAT WEEK ON BROADCAST TELEVISION
The Jan. 7 premiere of "Shades of Blue" has grown by +72% in adult 18-49 rating going from "live plus same day" to "live plus seven day" results from Nielsen Media Research (from a 1.81 to a 3.12) and by +4.9 million persons in total viewers (8.550 million vs. 13.466 million).
Among NBC series premieres, "Shades of Blue" delivered the #3 biggest L+7 increase ever in total viewers (4.916 million), behind only "Blindspot" (5.984 million) and "The Blacklist" (+5.696 million).
It was the #2 biggest lift of the week on the broadcast nets in total viewers (behind only "Big Bang Theory's" 5.106 million).
The 13.5 million in L+7 total viewers is NBC's best for the premiere of a 10 p.m. drama without a "Voice" lead-in in more than nine years, since "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" on Monday, Sept. 18, 2006 (14.1 million).
