Monday Primetime Results:
"The Biggest Loser 17" (1.2/4 in 18-49, 3.6 million viewers overall from 9-11 p.m. ET):
· Equals its season high in 18-49 (1.2, previously scored with the show's season premiere on Jan. 4) and also delivered its most-watched episode since the season debut on Jan. 4 (3.9 million).
· Jumps week to week by +20% in 18-49 (1.0 to 1.2) and +5% in total viewers (3.625 million vs. 3.450 million).
· For its second hour from 10-11 p.m., ranks #2 or tied for #2 among ABC, CBS and NBC in adults 18-49, adults 25-54 and most other key demos.
· From 10-11 p.m. finishes #1 among those networks in adults 18-34.
· Will add substantial viewership via time-shifting and VOD - last week's "Loser" grew by +36% in 18-49 (0.98 to 1.33) and 998,000 viewers (3.5 million to 4.4 million) going from L+SD to L+3.
· Upscale: Has generated a solid upscale audience, indexing at a 113 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes
"Superstore" (1.4/5 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall from 8-8:30 p.m. ET):
· Is close to rounding to a 1.5 (currently reporting a 1.44 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings).
· Versus Fox's regular-slot premiere of "The X-Files," finishes within 0.2 of last week's 1.6 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings in 18-49 (1.4 vs. 1.6) and within 0.3 of last week's 1.7 in official nationals.
· Will add substantial viewership with time-shifting and VOD: Last week's "Superstore" grew by +24% going from "live plus same day" to "live plus three day" ratings in 18-49 (1.65 to 2.05) and by 841,000 viewers overall (5.7 million to 6.5 million).
"Telenovela" (0.9/3 in 18-49, 3.3 million viewers overall from 8:30-9 p.m. ET):
· Versus Fox's regular-slot premiere of "The X-Files," finishes within 0.2 of last week's 1.1 in 18-49.
· Will add significant viewership with time-shifting and VOD: The prior week's "Telenovela" increased by +16% going from "live plus same day" to "live plus three day" ratings in 18-49 (1.13 to 1.32) and by 519,000 viewers overall (3.9 million to 4.4 million)
· Upscale: Has generated a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 119 among adults 18-49 living in homes with $100K+ incomes
In Late-Night Metered Markets Monday Night:
Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers were the #1-2 late-night shows in 18-49 in the 25 Nielsen markets with local people meters.
· In adult 18-49 rating in the local people meters, Fallon (0.8) equaled the combined results of CBS's "Late Show with Stephen Colbert" (0.4) and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live" (0.4).
· In 18-49 in the local people meters, Meyers (0.5) beat Colbert (0.4) and Kimmel (0.4), despite Meyers' later start time.
· Fallon's guests Monday night included Kate Hudson, Dan Patrick and musical guest G-Eazy.
· Meyers' guests Monday included Dakota Johnson, Brian d'Arcy James, Adam McKay and musical guest Carly Rae Jepsen.
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.4/6; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.6/4.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.8/4; "Late Show," 0.4/2; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.4/2.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.1/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.2/4 in metered-market households) beat CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/3 with an encore). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.5/3 in 18-49) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/1 with an encore).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
