LOS ANGELES, CA (January 28, 2016) - Little Women: Atlanta, Lifetime's newest edition of its hit Little Women docu-series franchise, roped in 1.3 million Total Viewers in its series premiere last night, while also scoring the network's best non-fiction series premiere in four years with Adults 25-54 (741,000, a +7% jump vs. its Little Women: LA lead-in) and Women 25-54 (556,000, +6%), according to Nielsen Fast Cable Ratings. Among Total Viewers, Adults 18-49 (705,000, +7% vs lead-in) and Women 18-49 (518,000, +5%), Little Women: Atlanta's 10pm debut is Lifetime's strongest series premiere since Little Women: Terra's Little Family last April.
At 9pm, the season four return of the franchise's flagship program Little Women: LA also delivered 1.3 million Total Viewers (a +8% jump vs. season three average), 692,000 Adults 25-54 (+10%), 661,000 Adults 18-49 (+14%), 524,000 Women 25-54 (+5%) and 491,000 Women 18-49 (+8%).
Little Women: Atlanta's and Little Women: LA's launches come on the heels of Lifetime's successful debut of The Rap Game, which focuses on five emerging young hip hop artists, ages 12 to 16 years old, who are given the opportunity to rhyme and flow with producer Jermaine Dupri. Last week the program reached a series high 1.6 million Total Viewers in Live+3 viewing, a +23% gain in the demo from premiere, also making it cable's number one series in the Friday 10pm time period among Women 18-49 and Women 25-54, and Lifetime's youngest series currently on the air, with a median age of 33. Last Saturday, the Lifetime Original Movie Toni Braxton: Unbreak My Heart brought in 3.6 million Total Viewers. It was the top telecast for the night across cable with Total Viewers, driving Lifetime to be Saturday evening's number one network across television with Adults 25-54, Women 25-54 and Women 18-49.
Little Women: LA and Little Women: Atlanta are produced by Kinetic Content.
