Tuesday Primetime Results:
"Chicago Fire" (1.8/6 in 18-49, 8.2 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET):
· Wins the hour among ABC, CBS and NBC in every key measure.
· Ranks #1 by a +50% margin among those nets in the 10-11 p.m. ET hour (1.8 vs. 1.2 for CBS's #2 "NCIS" encore).
· Maintained its 1.8 rating for a fourth straight telecast.
· Delivers its 20th consecutive time-period win in 18-49 versus regular ABC-CBS competition in the 10-11 p.m. slot when in original, dating back to February 2015.
· Is up +13% versus its average last season when airing without a "Voice" lead-in in 18-49 (1.8 vs. 1.6).
· Is the #1 Big 4 telecast of the night in women 18-49 and tied for #1 in women 25-54.
· Will add substantial audience via time-shifting and VOD -- "Chicago Fire" has grown by +61% in 18-49 rating (from a 1.86 to a 2,99) and 3.6 million viewers overall (8.0 million to 11.6 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
"Chicago Med" (1.6/5 in 18-49, 7.6 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET):
· Maintains 100% of last week's 1.6 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings and 94% of last week's 1.7 in official nationals.
· Grows week to week in total viewers (7.649 million vs. 7.577 million last week in official nationals).
· Doubles NBC's rating in the slot on the same night last year (1.6 vs. 0.8 for comedies) and triples the year-ago figure in total viewers (7.649 million vs. 2.502 million).
· Builds by +45% on its lead-in in 18-49 and +77% in total viewers.
· Will add substantial audience via time-shifting and VOD -- "Chicago Med" has increased by +40% in 18-49 rating (from a 2.00 to a 2.80) and 2.7 million viewers overall (8.8 million to 11.5 million) going from L+SD to L+7.
"Hollywood Game Night" (1.1/4 in 18-49, 4.3 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET):
· Maintains 92% of last week's 1.2 rating in adults 18-49 and 100% in adults 18-34 (0.7 vs. 0.7).
· Ranks #2 in the time period among the Big 4 in adults 25-54.
Estimates After 7 Days of Time-Shifting and Alt-Platform Viewing:
· "Hollywood Game Night," 1.3 rating in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall.
· "Chicago Med," 2.6, 10.7 million.
· "Chicago Fire," 3.1, 12.2 million.
In Late-Night Metered Markets Tuesday Night:
· In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.2/6 with an encore telecast; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.2/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.
· In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4 with an encore; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.5/3.
· From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.3/4 in metered-market households and a 0.3/2 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.
· From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, "Late Night with Seth Meyers" (1.0/4 in metered-market households with an encore) tied CBS's "Late Late Show" (1.0/4). In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, "Late Night" (0.4/3 in 18-49 with an encore) topped "Late Late Show" (0.2/2).
· At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.6/3 in metered-market households with an encore and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
