SCIENCE CHANNEL DELIVERS HIGHEST RATED MONTH EVER IN PRIME TIME AMONG KEY DEMOS AND VIEWERSHIP IN JANUARY
-WHAT ON EARTH? Season Premiere Set Network Time Period Ratings Records in Jan.-
Science Channel delivered its highest rated month ever among Adults 25-54, Adults 18-49, Adults 18-34 and Men 18-49 during Prime Time in Jan. 2016 in L+3. The network secured double-digits gains in Adults 25-54 vs. Jan. 2014 (+10%), and broke into the Top 30 among all ad-supported networks among Men 25-54 for the month (#30).
The WHAT ON EARTH? season premiere (Jan. 26 at 9PM) set a time a period record for the network and now stands as the highest rated in Adults 25-54 and the most watched in Total Viewers P2+ for Tuesdays from 9-10PM. The premiere also set series highs in Total Viewers (780,000), Persons 25-54 (356,000), Persons 18-49 (294,000) Men 18-49 (168,000) and Women 25-54 (155,000) .
Other Science Channel highlights in Jan. included the season premiere of OUTRAGEOUS ACTS OF SCIENCE (Jan. 9), which delivered a 0.45 rating among Adults 25-54 with 674,000 Total Viewers P2+, which helped Jan. 2016 break into the network's Top 5 of all time for both Persons 25-54 (#2) and Total Viewers (#5).
